Alexandra Amato has been in the Nursing field since she can remember. She started volunteering as a candy striper at the age of 11. She always knew she was meant to take care of people. She has a Bachelor's in Science and a nursing degree. She spent seven years in critical care at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ and then moved on into the field of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in 2001. Alexandra has spent many years volunteering for the American Cancer Society and private fundraisers for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Cardiac Unit. She belongs to two Women Entrepreneur groups, ETTWomen in Manalapan, NJ and The Jersey Entrepreneur Moms. She also is the secretary to SEPTA, uniting parents, teachers and administrators to help children achieve their highest potential. She believes everything happens for a reason. She has taken a tremendous leap of faith with great support from her husband John and has launched Medical Alert Device Company called STAT Medical Alert, LLC right here in Monmouth County. Her company is geared towards the ever-growing aging community.
