Dr. Shanti Gopalakrishnan

Shanthi Gopalakrishnan earned her PhD. in Organization Management from Rutgers University and is currently a Professor at the Martin Tuchman School of Management at NJIT, New Jersey.

Dr. Gopalakrishnan teaches the Capstone Business Policy Course at the Undergraduate level and Strategic management of technology at the graduate level. She also lectures on these topics in Universities in Spain, China, and India.

Her research interests are in the area of innovation management, leadership, strategic alliances and outsourcing. She has published over 100 articles on these topics in edited volumes, Conference Proceedings, and Journals such as Journal of Management Studies, IEEE Transactions in Engineering Management, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research and Academy of Management Executive. Dr. Gopalakrishnan is currently on editorial and advisory board of Group and Organization Management and Organization Management Journal and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of South Asian Journal of Business Studies. She was a Past President and is a current Fellow of Eastern Academy of Management.
